Melee Talents

Melee skills are essential to improving melee weapons.

Attack Speed

Increase Attack Speed by 1 per level, and allows for maximum attack speed.

Attack Power

Adds more power to attacks.

Draw Weapon

Reduces the amount of time required to switch between weapons.

Leg Attack

An attack that hits legs only and is hard to parry. +15 to Accuracy and +4 Damage.

Dual Wield

Adds the Dual Wield skill. When using two weapons: the left hand Melee skill is determined by the lowest value of your Dual-Wield skill and Melee skill.
You will also receive other penelties for dual wielding. Therefore it is not recommended to start dual wielding with low level characters.

Counter Attack

When you make a parry you have a short window to make a Counter Attack.

Shield

Allows you to utilize Shields. The higher this value is, the better your parrying will be.

Kick

Kick is a free extra attack.

Active Dodge

You can make Active Dodges by double tapping a move key in any direction. If you are too big however, the dodge won't do much.
The dodge distance is determined by: Your Dodge skill + 2 Dodge.

Weapon Focus

Melee skill gets bonuses from Agility instead of Strength if it is higher.
Does not work if either hand weighs 3 or more.

Backstab

When attacking from behind you add your Backstab skill value to the damage dealt.
Only works with knives and swords that weigh 2 or less. Does not require being stealth.
Also only works if you have not attacked anything within the last 10 seconds.

Shield Bash

Allows you to Shield Bash targets when using shields.

Taunt

Makes all surrounding enemies attack you for 3/5/7 seconds.

  • Required: Nothing

Twohand Fighting

Removes the accuracy penalty for using Twohanded weapons.
Note: Spear is not counted as a Twohanded weapon.

Berserk

When you enter Berserk mode, you cannot parry but attack faster (+4 Attack Speed) and hit harder (+4 Strength). Your current melee value never drops below 50% and you do not receive a running attack penalty.
10% / 20% / 30% / 40% / 50% reduced cooldown.

  • Required: Melee 10+, Strength 14+

Disarm

Disarm will disarm enemies if they are hit.

Shield Combo Attack

Makes a three attack combo with your shield and right handed weapon. All attacks in this combo have full power.
Gives +8 damage and +14 accuracy during this combo attack.

Fight In the Ranks

Deal 25%/50%/75%/100% less damage to allies and gain 1/2/3/4 Parry bonus when you have 2 or more allies within 5 meters.

Power Attack

Make a powerful attack. Deals double damage and power which is more likely to stun. Also adds +6 Accuracy.

Berserk Attack Speed

You have built up a furious attack speed when you are berserking. Increases your Berserk attack speed even further.
Gives +2 Agility per level.

Berserk Rage

While in Berserk you enter a rage that gives you supernatural strength. Increases your Berserk Strength by +10% per level.

Duel

When you Duel, you gain +10 Accuracy and +10 Parry if there is only you and your opponent within 10 meters.

Multiple Block

Allows you to make multiple blocks at the same time.

Charge

Charges an enemy and makes a powerful attack.
Gives +12 Accuracy and +4 Damage.

Cleave

While in Cleave mode on you have -2 to Hit and -3 Damage. But you can hit several enemies with each attack.

Death Strike

When making a Power Attack, you gain +6 Damage and always aim for the head. While performing this attack you cannot be hit.
The damage is calculated as: (Damage + 12)*2 + 20 Accuracy

Leap Attack

Leap forwards and cleave for triple Damage and Attack Power.
